Meet The Franchisor – No Water Just Shine

No Water Just Shine isn’t your typical car valeting franchise. It’s a unique business model can be small enough to run as an owner operator business, but with enough potential to grow and develop. If you have a passion for cars, this is an opportunity not to miss.

No Water Just Shine is a unique franchise in that car valeting and cleaning is done without water. Through using a range of professional cleaning equipment, franchisees deliver sparkling results, the eco friendly approach a fantastic marketing tool that’ll keep customers coming back. What’s more, you’re guaranteed a minimum of 2 bookings per week.

With big plans for the next five years, I spoke to Matt Jones, Managing Director and Franchisor at No Water Just Shine, to find out more about more about the opportunity and his plans for the franchise.

Meet Matt Jones, MD at No Water Just Shine

FP: Tell me a bit about yourself, what is your role with No Water Just Shine?

MJ: I’m very hands on – I have a book of clients I still service and maintain because I still love valeting cars. I run the business from my home, I’m fully mobile with a van and thankfully have to do very little advertising because word of mouth is the best form of advertisement. I’m also talking to potential new franchisee’s and meeting them and explaining each and every part of the business model and set up.

FP: What Makes the No Water Just Shine Franchise Unique? Why is Your Franchise a Smart Investment for Entrepreneurs?

MJ: Our model is unique – our USP is we are totally waterless – no baffled water tank, no high pressure jet wash or big heavy equipment. We use the very best cleaning materials to gain the very best results, its not just a clean car we leave, we leave a protected car!

FP: What Qualities Do You Look For in a Potential Franchisee?

MJ: Someone who has the ambition and desire to succeed in business as well as a very keen interest in cars and has an eye for detail.

FP: One of the biggest fears of becoming a business owner is the potential risks involved. How does No Water Just Shine support its franchisees?

MJ: We are a phone call away from advice, we do full 1 to 1 training for the time that it takes for you to have a clear understanding of the products and the technique required to clean and protect a vehicle.

We also supply you actual bookings – 2 a week is part of the franchise agreement, you can request more.

We also support you and the business when it comes to the financial element – end of year accounts and self assessment.

FP: What are your plans for growth over the next 5 years?

MJ: After launching the franchise in 2024, by 2030 we want to have 50 franchisees on board.

FP: What has been your biggest achievement in the past year?

MJ: Ensuring the business is a business that can be franchised, at the same time it can provide a rewarding opportunity for the right individual.

FP: What are your hobbies, and how does your franchise give you the flexibility to relax?

MJ: With 2 boys that play academy football running your own business gives you the flexibility of working the hours you want and need to work. So all of my time when not working is taken up by travelling one or the other to training and matches 5 days a week and at weekends!
