So she built the service they were missing: professional holiday let management and professional cleaning, combined into one trusted point of contact. Clients came through referrals, then more referrals. One Property. Several Invoices.

Most cleaning franchises give you one thing to sell. Stocks Sparkling Service gives you four core services, each one earning from the same client relationship.

Holiday Home Management. You clean and prepare properties between guests, hold the keys and act as the local contact if guests hit a problem. Because every changeover is different, you charge by the hour, which keeps pricing fair for owners and honest for you.

Laundry Service. Bedlinen washed, dried and ironed. Towels, bathmats, tea towels and oven gloves weighed and laundered. Machine washable throws cleaned too.

Linen and Towel Hire. Plain white or patterned bedlinen in single, double, king and super king, plus a full range of white towels from hand towels to bath sheets. Hired linen is always laundered by you, so every hire client is also a repeat laundry client.

Oven Cleaning. Using a professional dip tank, you bring tired ovens back to looking practically new in around three hours. Owners notice. So do guests.

As your business grows, you're also free to branch into domestic, end of tenancy and commercial cleaning in your territory, with head office sharing its experience and backing your efforts.

What Your Days Actually Look Like

No two days are the same, but here's the rhythm. You start by checking for booking changes. You make sure the vacuum batteries are charged and the supplies are stocked. You prepare the laundry, pick up your team, grab fresh welcome pack items and, for some properties, collect fuel for the open fire. Then you head to the first changeover.

Mondays and Fridays are your busiest days. Some properties are cosy two or three bedroom cottages. One on the Stocks books has 17 bedrooms and 14 bathrooms.

At every property you check for damage, clean to a standard guests notice, and take photos when you finish. Those photos protect you if a guest ever disputes the condition of a property, and they double as ready made content for your social media.

Your Role

Build relationships. Network with local letting agents and earn the trust of property owners.

Market locally. Get your name known in your territory. Once your service speaks for itself, referrals become your strongest source of new business.

Be the owner's eyes and ears. Report damage or maintenance issues quickly and help owners resolve them before the next guests arrive.
