Franchise Planet is an online franchise directory. We provide a platform that connects prospective franchisees with franchisors and franchise consultants. We are not a franchise broker, financial adviser or legal adviser. We do not endorse, recommend or guarantee any franchise opportunity listed on our Website.
All franchise listings, descriptions, investment figures, financial projections and other information displayed on the Website are provided by franchisors or their appointed consultants. We publish this information in good faith but make no representations as to its accuracy, completeness or fitness for any particular purpose.
3. Using This Website
3.1 Permitted Use
You may use this Website for lawful purposes only. Permitted uses include browsing franchise listings, submitting genuine enquiries, creating a franchisor account and managing your listing.

5. Franchisor Accounts and Listings
5.1 Account Registration
To list a franchise opportunity on Franchise Planet you must create an account and subscribe to one of our plans. By creating an account you confirm that you are authorised to represent the franchise opportunity you are listing, and that all information you provide is accurate, lawful and not misleading.
5.2 Listing Content
You are solely responsible for the content of your listing. You must not include:
- False or unsubstantiated earnings claims or financial projections
- Content that infringes the intellectual property rights of any third party
- Content that is defamatory, offensive or otherwise unlawful
- Pricing or investment information that you know to be inaccurate
We reserve the right to edit, remove or suspend any listing that we reasonably believe breaches these Terms or our content standards, without prior notice and without liability to you.
5.3 Subscriptions and Billing
Franchisor subscriptions are billed monthly. Payment is processed securely via Stripe. By subscribing you authorise us to charge your chosen payment method on a recurring monthly basis until you cancel.
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial months.
5.4 Account Security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Please notify us immediately at hello@franchise-directory.co.uk if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.
6. Intellectual Property
All content on the Website that is not provided by franchisors or third parties — including the Franchise Planet name, logo, design, layout, code and editorial content — is owned by or licensed to Lighthouse Transitions Ltd and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.
You may not reproduce, distribute, modify or create derivative works from any of our proprietary content without our express written permission. Nothing in these Terms grants you any licence or right in respect of our intellectual property beyond what is necessary to use the Website as intended.
Franchisors retain ownership of all content they upload to their listings. By uploading content to the Website, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display, reproduce and distribute that content on the Website and in related promotional materials for as long as your listing is active.
7. Third-Party Links and Content
The Website contains links to franchisor websites and other third-party websites. These links are provided for convenience only. We have no control over the content of third-party websites and accept no responsibility for them or for any loss or damage that may arise from your use of them.
The inclusion of any link on our Website does not imply our endorsement of the linked website or its content.
