Be Your Own Boss with Franchising

More than half of franchises for sale in the UK are available to invest for less than £100,000. From coffee van franchises to retail, pet grooming to managed cleaning opportunities - ranging from less than £5K and zero cost franchises up to six figures total investment.

Franchising enables you to be your own boss whilst becoming a business owner with an established brand. There are many opportunities in the UK - over 1,000 in fact. With more and more franchises entering the UK market all the time, there are now more franchises for sale under £100K than ever.

Why Invest in a Franchise?

The term "investing" in a franchise refers to building up a business of your own, using the brand name of an established brand. When you invest in a franchise, you'll be building up a business in your own area, trading under the brand name of the franchisor's business model. The franchisor owns the trademarks and intellectual property of the brand, and the franchisee uses them under license. Becoming a franchisee has many benefits. Not only do you benefit from the training and support of the franchisor, you'll also enjoy being part of the franchising community. Well supported, by banks, franchise associations, consultants and many law firms, you'll have support from many organisations within franchising. Many people reject franchising because it involves paying often several thousand pounds and they don't like the idea of that, but its a much safer way of getting into business ownership than starting up a business yourself. Associations like the British Franchise Association are self-regulatory bodies within franchising, made up of members (franchises and suppliers), including a board, who go above and beyond to support franchising.

Because franchising has a greater success rate compared to starting up alone (93% and 79% respectively), banks favour franchising and are often able to lend up to 70% of the franchise investment.

Get your foot on the franchising ladder

Whatever your experience in business, whether you've never owned or managed a business before, or you're entrepreneur savvy, there are many opportunities within franchising. And best of all, you'll be joining one of the most supported sectors. One which contributes more than £17bn to the UK economy! Discover a world of franchises at Franchise Planet and take the first step to being your own boss.
